If you are struggling with your network speeds, follow these steps:
1. Restart your router; equipment restarts are the most effective broadband troubleshooting solution.
2. Watch out for bandwidth-hogging activities. Downloading large files on multiple devices uses more bandwidth, affecting your average download speed.
3. Check your average and minimum guaranteed download speed; this is included in your broadband confirmation email.
4. Record a speed test in the morning, afternoon and evening to obtain an average. Take a screenshot of each speed test.
If the speeds are lower than expected, forward the speed test results to us. A member of our team will run a line test and raise a fault report with our network partner.
